When saturated, the special Oil Sorber granules have high calorific power and burn to less than 3% ash.
These elements makes it ideal to be incinerated.

Alternative Fuel Source
The BTU value of used Oil Sorber special granules is very high.

Biodegradation
Oil Sorber special cork granules are biologically stable and free of harmful micro-organisms. When they are disposed of,
they provide the environment needed for the development of bio-degrading organisms that can oxidize the absorbed hydrocarbons
faster than the biodegradation of the special cork granules themselves.
